Ride verde chi ride ultimo is a weekly comedy newsletter covering a wide array of news, topics and themes of the climate and environmental crisis. Scientific knowledge, solid information and the hottest issues of the climate conversation are packed into a humorous, satirical storytelling. It is available for free on Substack and it targets different audiences: climate activists looking for a decompressing take on their cause; scientists and journalists interested in a new form of climate education and a bit of self-examining parody; environmental conscious readers who want to deepen their understanding of the climate discourse in an original entertaining form. Every week, Ride verde chi ride ultimo is focused either on one vertical topic, which is elaborated through scientific data and pop-culture-nerdy jokes; or on a transversal review of the week in environmental news. The idea behind Ride verde chi ride ultimo is quite simple: to keep up with the climate conversation we need relief from the doom and gloom. Jokes, laughters and humor can help us stay engaged with the climate and environmental crisis while fighting off our eco-anxiety. Mattia Iannantuoni is the author of Ride verde chi ride ultimo. He’s a former researcher at Politecnico di Milano, where he conducted research and education projects in the field of sustainable innovation.
